Modern Off-Grid Lighting Could Create 2 Million New Jobs in Developing World - Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory

In a recently released press release, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkley Lab), one of the most advanced laboratories in the US that conducts scientific research on behalf of the United States Department of Energy stated in a widely published article that - "Modern Off-Grid Lighting Could Create 2 Million New Jobs in Developing World" ( - something that we have been mooting for since long and one of the main reasons that we live and die for today.

Participation in Myan Build 2015 - Yangon, Myanmar

Thrive Solar particiapted in MyanBuild 2015 - Myanmar International Building & Construction Industry Show held between 3rd and 5th December 2015 at Yangon, Myanmar. Thrive Solar was one among 300 exhibitors from all over the globe to showcase its products and solutions. Thrive Solar Participates at the India Show 2015 at Lagos, Nigera

Thrive Solar participated in the India Show 2015 which was organised by CII ( Confederation of Indian Industry ) at Lagos, Nigeria from 25th to 27th, Aug'15. Over 100 exhibitors from India participated and this was CII's biggest event so far.

Thrive Solar's stall was graced by the presence of Hon'ble Governor of Ebonyi State, Mr.Dave Umahi and Indian High commissioner to Nigeria His Highness Mr.Ghanshyam.

Thrive Solar MD, Dr. Ranga visited the US on invitation to speak at a symposium in the second week of this month. While there he presented the company's work and his views on social entrepreneurship to several groups and communities across various Harvard Schools.

Company Chief Mentor Smt. Almitra Patel and Thrive Solar donate 950 Solar LED Lanterns for Rescue Operations and Landslide Victims in Badakshan Province of Afghanistan

On the fateful day of 2nd May 2014 massive multiple landslides occurred in the north-east province of Badakshan in Afghanistan killing hundreds of people and causing widespread damage in several villages. With encouragement and support from Thrive Solar's Chief Mentor, Smt. Almitra Patel (#50 Kothnur Village, Bagalur Road, Bangalore 77), 950 Solar LED Lanterns were sent as relief material to Afghanistan to assist workers in relief operations and help disaster-affected families as they have no access to electricity in the affected villages during day or night.

Thrive Solar's range of LED Lighting and Solar Photovoltaic products, and its work with the commnities in the East African region are being showcased at the 3 day event starting from 25th September 2013.
