Second Solar Lights Assembly Unit for Divyangs inaugurated in Palamoor by Hon'ble Minister Sri. T. Harish Rao

The "Palamoor Divyang Solar Society" was inaugurated at Mahbubnagar by Hon.Minister  Sri. Harish Rao, Incumbent Cabinet Minister for Irrigation, Marketing & Legislative Affairs of Telangana and Hon'ble Health Minister, Sri.Narasimha Reddy on 11th July 2017. Local MP, MLA, ZP Chairman, District Collector, Joint Collector, SP and others attended the event.

Successful completion of Training Program on Assembly of Solar Products for 30 participants at its extension unit at RTP, NIRD&PR

Thrive Solar successfully completed a 15 day program on Solar Energy Uses and Applications & Assembly of Solar Products at its extension unit at Rural Technology Park (RTP), NIRD&PR, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. The program held between 24th April, 2017 and 8th May 2017 was attended by 29 participants sponsored by various NGOs.

Thrive Solar participated as one of the exhibitors at the Pride of India Expo which was an event organized during the Indian Science Congress 2017 at Bengaluru. The expo saw thousands of visitors with about 75000 students visiting the expo on day 1.

10 Day Training Program on Solar and LED Lighting Technology for Surya Mitra trainees concludes at Rural Technology Park, NIRD&PR

Thrive Solar conducted a 10 day training programme for Surya Mirta trainees at the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRD&PR), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. The trainees who were sponsored by various organizations were enrolled for a comprehensive rural development and solar entrepreneurship orientation programme at NIRD&PR. Thrive Solar provided the required training on solar technologies involving photovoltaics, LED lights assembly, Solar Street Lighting, Solar Water Pumping and related subjects to the trainees.

In a recently released press release, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (Berkley Lab), one of the most advanced laboratories in the US that conducts scientific research on behalf of the United States Department of Energy stated in a widely published article that - "Modern Off-Grid Lighting Could Create 2 Million New Jobs in Developing World" (http://goo.gl/FaiJm0) - something that we have been mooting for since long and one of the main reasons that we live and die for today.
